Our story
Family-run on Haverford Road since 1955
Bryn Mawr Auto Body has fixed Main Line cars since 1955. It’s still a family business, run by the same family.
We repair cars for Main Line families and local businesses, and for the fleets of Villanova University, Rosemont College and Lewis Environmental. Call the shop and you reach the people working on your car. We’ll help with the insurance claim, show you anything we find once the car is apart, and call when it’s ready.

Common questions
Do I need an appointment for a free estimate?
No. Stop by for an estimate any time Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and we’ll look the car over with you. You can also call (610) 525-2377, or send photos through our Carwise page if you can’t get here.
Do I have to use the body shop my insurance company recommends?
No. Under Pennsylvania law (63 P.S. § 861(d)) an insurance appraiser, or the company they work for, can’t require that repairs be made at a particular shop, and the appraisal has to say so in writing (31 Pa. Code § 62.3). Your insurer can recommend a shop. Where the car goes is up to you.
How does the lifetime guarantee work?
If we fixed it, we stand behind it. Our repairs are guaranteed for as long as you own the car. If something we repaired isn’t right, call us and we’ll make it right.
Can you arrange a rental car or a tow?
Yes. If your car can’t be driven, call us and we’ll arrange a tow to the shop, and we’ll help you set up a rental through your insurer or on your own.
How long will my repair take?
It depends mostly on how much damage turns up once the car is taken apart, how quickly parts arrive, and how long the insurer takes to approve any extra work. You’ll get a starting timeline with the estimate, and we’ll call you if it changes.
