Collision repair
Collision repair in Bryn Mawr
Collision damage usually goes deeper than what you can see. We take the car apart, find all of it, and get it approved before we fix it.

What a collision does to a modern car
A bumper that popped loose in a parking lot can hide a bent reinforcement bar, a crushed foam absorber, or a cracked bracket holding a radar sensor. A harder hit can shift the structure by a few millimeters, enough to change how the doors close and how the car protects you next time. An estimate written from the outside is usually incomplete.
How we repair it
- Find everything. The damaged area comes apart so every broken clip, bracket and panel is found. On a claim, hidden damage goes to your adjuster for approval.
- Straighten the structure. The body is measured against the manufacturer’s dimensions and brought back into specification.
- Repair, paint and calibrate. Panels repaired or replaced, color matched and blended, and cameras and radar recalibrated here when the repair calls for it.
- Check it all. Panel gaps, paint, lights and warning lamps, before we call you.

New, aftermarket or used parts
Each replacement part on an estimate is OEM (made by or for your car’s manufacturer), aftermarket (made by another company to fit), or used/recycled (often listed as LKQ). Policies differ on which they’ll pay for. We’ll show you what the estimate calls for before parts are ordered.
Working with your insurer
Bring your car here whoever insures it. We work with the adjuster on the estimate and any supplements. We work with most major insurers, and whoever you’re insured with, the choice of shop is yours.

FAQ
Collision repair questions
Will you tell me if you find more damage?
Yes. Anything found once the car is apart goes on the estimate. On an insurance claim we send it to the adjuster for approval before the extra work starts.
Do I have to go through insurance?
No. If you pay yourself, the repair is the same without the adjuster. For small damage close to your deductible, paying yourself is often the better choice.
Is it safe to drive my car before the repair?
If a warning light is on, a light doesn’t work, a tire rubs, or a door or hood won’t close properly, don’t drive it. Call us and we’ll arrange a tow.
How long will my repair take?
It depends mostly on how much damage turns up once the car is taken apart, how quickly parts arrive, and how long the insurer takes to approve any extra work. You’ll get a starting timeline with the estimate, and we’ll call you if it changes.
